Our Sage-ing group has taken on a new project. This year, for the second year, the One Billion Rising organization had people in over 203 countries and many cities in the United States participate in celebrations to encourage everyone to stand up, to rise up, to stop abusive practices towards women and girls.
Since Winter Haven did not take part, we are making an effort to change that. We have a number of ideas in mind and have started putting them in motion.
