You might be surprised to learn that central Florida is the third highest location in the country for human trafficking. And so it only seemed natural that after spending last year working to help raise awareness of the abuse towards women and girls through the One Billion Rising Movement, this year we would decide to focus on human trafficking.

We are helping by collecting items for rescued victims of human trafficking, helping to supply a safe house, and educating others in our community. We also are learning more about this problem so we can find other ways to protect our local citizens.
As older citizens, as Sages, we can still contribute a great deal to our communities and families.
